Run or Stroll for a Good Cause at the 10th Annual RunWalk for the Kids near Norfolk Crossing

June 12, 2015

The Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters (CHKD) doesn't just serve children; it takes care of entire families. And when you stroll, jog, or run at the 10th Annual RunWalk for the Kids, taking place not far from Norfolk Crossing, you'll be part of what makes this important local institution possible. For every race fee paid, the CHKD receives funding.

There's an activity for everyone at the RunWalk, as its name suggests. If you're not much of a runner or you have the kids along, take the 2 Mile Walk around Norfolk. You can also go for a quick jaunt, just a 1 Mile Fun Run. But if you have some time to train and you'd like to challenge yourself, join fellow joggers in the 8k Run, which measures about five miles long. Afterwards, sip brews from Smartmouth and O'Connor, refuel on food provided by Yorgo's and California Pizza Kitchen, and enjoy all types of family entertainment.
