Ring in the Sunny Season with a Trip from Norfolk Crossing to the Mount Trashmore Summer Carnival
May 29, 2015
Candy apples, Sno-Cones, and cotton candy serve as the fuel for guests at the Mount Trashmore Summer Carnival, just as the sugary treats have for decades. Each year, the carnival transforms 165-acre Mount Trashmore Park into an epicenter of fast food and classic sweets, old-school carnival games, and, of course, rides for the thrill-seekers and mild-mannered alike.
Make the quick drive from Norfolk Crossing to Mount Trashmore Park any weeknight or weekend day between now and June 23 to get in on the action. Parking and admission are free, so even members of the family who don't care much for rollercoasters and Ferris wheels can come along for the ride. Little ones can whip around on the Tea Cups or take the Giant Wheel up into the sky with a parent, whereas more adventurous riders might want to check out intense rides like the Typhoon and Starship 4000.
